Week 8 Minipoll results

Dear T-Shirt Wars Fans,

Here are the results of last week's Minipoll. We asked you how often you visited our website:

78% of respondents said 'At least every day'
11% said 'Less than once a week'
11% said this was their first visit

So no selection bias there then.

A new Minipoll has to be devised then and, inkeeping with the feeling of weariness that overcomes me when I try to think of what we can ask next, the question this week is 'Is T-Shirt Wars getting a bit dull?'. After 8 weeks (8 weeks! Who'd a thought it?) of ups and downs in the topsy-turvy world of T-Shirt Wars, are things getting boring? Do you resent the tail-end of our wardrobes, or are you amused by the worst threads that we have to offer? Is the daily accumulation of points passé now, or have the new scoring rules since Pete started his 2nd Cycle spiced things up? Are our blogs now repetitive, or did our week of guest blogs refresh the palate?

Vote now!

P.S. It will be a short week, next week with competitors absent on Thursday and Friday, so only three days of play to look forward to. Savour it.

I voted "getting a bit dull", but I'd like to qualify that.. I think the fun bit is the hilariously over detailed blog write ups. Toward the "middle" part it was obvious some of you were either a bit to busy/tired to do full length blogs and it got boring. Even once I think you forgot to mention who won that particular round!

The guest blogs were a good idea. "15 minutes of fame" and all that..

You need to get the judges to be more vocal in the blog, more guesting maybe.

Your other ideas (theme days, and side caption/quote quizzes) were also good and added to the fun..

Your ultimate goal, (having already passed the 1000 hit milestone) is now to (a) get mentioned on Boing Boing or other similar site (that will get your hit counter spinning) and (b) manage to entice some other independent lab somewhere to take up the challenge of engaging in a T-Shirt war of their own using your rules. If you do that I will be truly amazed.... [/gauntlet thrown down]

I voted that it was "still a bit spicy" but this was mostly due to the blog on day 38 (how it made me laugh!). I do admit to losing interest about half way through but with Pete back in, the new rules and the dregs of the T-shirts now on display, it's certainly brightening up my day again.
